At Intersolar Europe 2026 in Munich, LONGi Solar and KENO signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) covering 100 MWh of battery energy storage systems for the Central and Eastern Europe market. The agreement was signed by Jia Chao, President of LONGi Europe for DG, and Paweł Grzegorczyk, Founder and President of the KENO Group. This is the next chapter of a partnership that in April this year produced an MoU for 350 MW in PV modules and that now covers the full spectrum of integrated energy solutions for the C&I market across CEE.
KENO has built the largest RES distribution network in Poland and is now using it to take energy storage to a new level
When Paweł Grzegorczyk founded KENO in 2008, solar energy in Poland was still a niche concept with little commercial infrastructure to support it. Sixteen years later, the KENO Group is the largest renewable energy distributor in Poland and one of the largest in Europe, with revenues exceeding 2.3 billion Polish zloty and a presence in markets stretching from Poland through Germany to Portugal.
What sets KENO apart as a LONGi distribution partner is the scope of support that accompanies the product after delivery. The company has built its own production lines for mounting structures and switchboards, developed a proprietary EMS system, created a B2B platform serving hundreds of partners and installers, and launched an accredited training centre. Around the main company, the KENO Group has grown to include brands such as N.Renewables, Kensol, Keno Energia, and Keno Home. For installers and business partners distributing LONGi products, this means access to a comprehensive infrastructure spanning component selection and system design, through financing and energy trading, to monitoring and service. It is a distribution model that actively builds the market around the product rather than simply supplying it.

Hi-MO One Pro and the LONGi ONE architecture as an answer to a market that has stopped treating energy storage as an option
The 100 MWh BESS MoU fits directly into the strategy LONGi presented at Intersolar 2026, the full LONGi ONE portfolio. It is a response to shifting market needs, where a PV module alone is no longer sufficient and clients expect an integrated system that manages production, storage, and energy consumption as a whole.
The core product for this partnership is the Hi-MO One Pro, a C&I BESS platform that combines storage hardware, an energy management system (EMS), a battery management system (BMS), and a power conversion system (PCS) in a single integrated unit. For business clients this means one point of technical accountability, no risk associated with integrating components from multiple vendors, and a real opportunity to optimise self-consumption and peak shaving from day one.
For KENO, which has spent years building its position as a comprehensive RES solutions provider, adding the LONGi ONE portfolio to its offer is another step toward system rather than product. It strengthens the value proposition for partners who are increasingly looking for a single place where they can order both a module and a storage system with the assurance that the two will work together.

One hundred megawatt-hours grounded in real demand and the direction LONGi and KENO are setting for the local energy storage market
"KENO has built its market position on the same foundation on which LONGi builds its products, quality that speaks for itself," said Paweł Grzegorczyk, Founder and President of the KENO Group. "Expanding our cooperation into energy storage is the logical next step. The local C&I market is ready for integrated energy systems and we want to be the company that defines that moment."
"KENO is one of the most important LONGi partners in Central Europe and that is not a question of volume," said Adrian Kocan, General Manager Eastern Europe at LONGi Solar (DG). "It is a question of how KENO approaches the market, with a deep understanding of client needs, its own support ecosystem, and an ambition that matches our own."
"One hundred megawatt-hours of BESS is not a declaration, it is a plan with a concrete market behind it," said Daniel Moczulski, Sales Director CEE at LONGi Solar (DG). "We see how quickly demand is growing for integrated energy storage solutions among Polish C&I clients and KENO is exactly the partner that can turn that demand into projects."
Polish businesses are asking less and less about a PV module. They are asking about an energy system that will work in their favour for the next twenty years. The partnership between LONGi and KENO is built precisely with that answer in mind.
