LONGi presented the Hi-MO X10 Guardian Transparent back contact module to the European market during the Intersolar exhibition. Product engineers designed this double glass back contact module specifically for commercial and industrial carport rooftops, but also for residential scenarios. The hardware incorporates a near-all-black and busbar-free design alongside a transparent back glass. This layout allows the module to blend well with existing carports and buildings.

Back contact cell technology drives superior energy efficiency

The transparent module features a specialized layout with 108 cells in a six-by-eighteen orientation to optimize light capture. This physical construction measures exactly 1800 millimeters in length, 1134 millimeters in width, and 30 millimeters in thickness. Within this compact format, the advanced BC architecture maximizes the surface area for light absorption on the front of the panel. The integration of HPBC 2.0 cell technology and N-type TaiRay wafers allows the hardware to reach a peak module efficiency of 24.25 percent. Buyers choose output capacities between 465 watts and 495 watts. The gridless front design pairs with a low temperature coefficient of -0.260 percent per degree Celsius to maintain stable power generation during peak summer conditions.

Versatile application options expand deployment across commercial carports and residential properties

The design supports diverse deployment strategies because the transparent rear glass provides a bifaciality rate of 70 percent. In commercial and industrial applications, investors deploy the hardware on large-scale carport rooftops to generate clean electricity and provide shade for vehicles. The competitive pricing structure and high energy generation optimize the return on investment for business operators. For residential scenarios, the premium gridless appearance allows seamless integration into home carports, canopies, or patio structures. The transparent properties maintain natural light transmission beneath the panels while the system feeds power directly into the household grid.

Robust double glass construction ensures reliable long term outdoor operation

A black anodized aluminum alloy frame provides the core structural foundation for the 23.5-kilogram assembly. The robust double glass design combines a 2.0-millimeter semi-tempered front glass with a 1.6-millimeter semi-tempered rear glass. This configuration successfully withstands severe weather impacts in open carport environments. Mechanical testing confirms that the hardware resists 25-millimeter hailstones at a speed of 23 meters per second. The front side handles a maximum static load of 5400 Pascals, while the rear side sustains up to 2400 Pascals. Official system certifications include IEC 61215, IEC 61730, and the IEC 62941 guideline.

Comprehensive warranties guarantee sustained power output over thirty years

LONGi secures capital investments through a 15-year warranty for materials and processing. The company adds a 30-year warranty for the extra linear power output. Performance metrics limit power degradation to one percent during the first year of operation. The system parameters restrict subsequent annual decline to 0.35 percent through year thirty. Consequently, the hardware retains 88.85 percent of its original capacity at the end of the 30-year lifecycle.
