LONGi Solar concluded Intersolar Europe 2026 with a strong commercial performance across Europe. During the exhibition, the company signed agreements covering approximately 2.5 GW of photovoltaic modules and 1.6 GWh of battery energy storage systems (BESS).
The agreements demonstrate growing customer confidence in LONGi's integrated solar and storage strategy and confirm increasing market demand for intelligent energy systems that combine high-efficiency photovoltaic generation with commercial and industrial energy storage.
Beyond the commercial agreements, LONGi used Intersolar Europe 2026 to showcase its strategic direction in commercial and industrial energy systems. The company introduced the LONGi ONE storage portfolio for commercial and industrial applications, which includes Hi-MO One Pro and OmniCube L233. The Hi-MO One Pro also received the EUPD Top Innovation Award 2026 in the category “Storage”. It recognizes the platform's integrated architecture and proprietary iCCS predictive safety technology. LONGi also unveiled the mobile solar energy station LONGi BLOCK, designed to supply renewable electricity to remote industrial projects.
Together with GreenSketch, LONGi co-authored the German Rooftop Valuation Report 2026, a nationwide study which found that German homeowners could collectively save €45.43 billion annually through rooftop solar and battery storage. The report was officially launched on the eve of Intersolar Europe 2026.
The exhibition also featured LONGi's latest C&I feature modules, including Fire-Resistant, Anti-Glare Pro, and Light Design. The modules highlight the growing importance of application-specific photovoltaic solutions for commercial and industrial projects.
Beyond its technology portfolio, the company announced its official partnership with the BMW BERLIN-MARATHON 2026. The collaboration underscores LONGi's commitment to renewable energy, healthy lifestyles, and sustainable development through one of Europe's most recognized sporting events.
Strong commercial results validate LONGi's expansion into energy storage
The agreements signed during Intersolar Europe covered a broad range of commercial and industrial photovoltaic and battery energy storage applications across Europe.
Approximately 2.5 GW of photovoltaic modules were contracted during the exhibition, alongside 1.6 GWh of battery energy storage capacity. This reflects the accelerating demand for integrated solar and storage projects as European customers increasingly seek solutions that improve self-consumption, strengthen energy resilience, and optimize electricity costs.
The commercial outcome reflects Europe's transition from standalone photovoltaic generation toward integrated energy management systems that combine solar generation with intelligent energy storage.
LONGi ONE and award-winning Hi-MO One Pro lead LONGi's storage expansion
A major milestone during Intersolar 2026 was the European introduction of LONGi ONE, LONGi's integrated storage portfolio for commercial, industrial, and utility-scale applications. The portfolio reflects LONGi's strategy to combine advanced back contact photovoltaic technology with intelligent energy storage. The integrated approach helps customers maximize renewable energy utilization, improve operational flexibility, and strengthen energy resilience.
At the center of the portfolio for C&I is the Hi-MO One Pro commercial energy storage system, which received the EUPD Top Innovation Award 2026 during Intersolar Europe. The award recognizes the platform's integrated system architecture and LONGi's proprietary iCCS predictive safety technology, which continuously evaluates battery conditions at cell level and provides early warning of potential battery abnormalities months before critical thermal events may occur. The recognition further validates LONGi's integrated approach to commercial energy storage and reinforces the company's position as an innovation leader in the European market.
LONGi BLOCK expands solar deployment into remote industrial applications
Another product highlight was the European debut of LONGi BLOCK, a rapidly deployable containerized solar power station developed for locations without permanent energy infrastructure.
The mobile system integrates LONGi's high-efficiency back contact photovoltaic technology within a transportable container that can be deployed within a few hours. Designed for construction sites, mining operations, industrial facilities, emergency response, agriculture, and remote communities, LONGi BLOCK provides renewable electricity without lengthy permitting procedures or permanent civil works.
BMW BERLIN-MARATHON partnership connects renewable energy with sustainable lifestyles
LONGi also announced its official partnership with the BMW BERLIN-MARATHON 2026. The collaboration reflects the company's commitment to renewable energy, healthy lifestyles, and sustainable development through one of Europe's most recognized sporting events.

GreenSketch study identifies €45.43 billion annual rooftop solar savings potential in Germany
Together with GreenSketch, LONGi co-authored the German Rooftop Valuation Report 2026. The nationwide study analyzed more than 28 million residential buildings and found that German homeowners could collectively save approximately €45.43 billion annually through rooftop photovoltaic systems combined with battery storage.
The findings highlight the significant untapped potential of residential rooftop solar and demonstrate the growing role of integrated photovoltaic, storage, and intelligent energy management systems in Germany's energy transition.
Strong market response confirms LONGi's storage strategy
Intersolar Europe 2026 marked an important milestone for LONGi's commercial and industrial business. The growing interest in Hi-MO One Pro and other LONGi ONE solutions reflects a broader transformation of Europe's energy market. Following years of rapid renewable energy deployment, the focus is shifting from generation capacity alone toward intelligent energy management. Businesses increasingly require solutions that can store electricity, increase self-consumption, reduce peak demand, optimize energy costs, provide backup power, and make more effective use of existing grid capacity.
The strong commercial response at Intersolar Europe confirms that LONGi entered the energy storage market at the right moment. LONGi addresses the next phase of the energy transition by combining advanced back contact photovoltaic technology with intelligent storage and energy management. In this next phase, renewable electricity must not only be generated efficiently, but also managed intelligently.
