LONGi and Turn Key Solar agreed to work together across the European market at Intersolar 2026. One result is already running. A LONGi OmniCube-A215 battery energy storage system (BESS) now operates at Turn Key Solar's headquarters in Salzkotten, where commercial and industrial customers can see it working before they invest in one of their own.

The OmniCube-A215 is a complete storage system in a single cabinet

The OmniCube-A215 is an all-in-one system. It holds 215 kWh of storage capacity and delivers 105 kW of output from lithium iron phosphate (LFP) cells. It connects to a standard 400-volt three-phase supply, so it fits the electrical infrastructure most commercial and industrial sites already run. The energy management system comes fitted from the factory, so Turn Key Solar's own team could install the unit without specialist support.

A commercial site gets backup power and more control over its energy costs

The system pairs with a site's solar through an AC connection, so a business can store what its panels generate and use it when grid power is expensive or unavailable. It moves between grid and off-grid supply in seconds, which keeps critical equipment running through an outage. A site can begin with one unit and add more as demand grows, up to ten in parallel, so it pays for capacity in step with need.

Fire protection and cell-level monitoring come built in

Storage often sits close to people and equipment, so safety is part of the buying decision. The OmniCube-A215 has fire protection across its battery packs and the cabinet, with an aerosol suppression system inside. LONGi's Intelligent Cell Connection System (iCCS) watches each cell continuously and flags abnormal behavior early, before a small fault can grow. The same design cuts internal cabling by up to 80 percent, which leaves fewer connections to loosen or fail over the system's life. For a factory or a food producer that has to meet tough safety rules, that monitoring is something the Turn Key Solar team can show working.

The partnership brings LONGi's system together with Turn Key Solar's local delivery

The partnership splits the work in a way that suits both sides. LONGi builds the storage system and its safety technology. Turn Key Solar installs and supports it for customers in the German market, and LONGi Germany worked alongside its team to bring the Salzkotten unit online. The Salzkotten site now lets a business weighing storage question a running system directly. It can watch how the unit handles a real load and how the safety systems behave, then decide with far less left to assume. Turn Key Solar arranges viewings on request.
