Balkan Peninsula partnership between LONGi and Green Energy Supplier deepened with 150 MW in PV and 150 MWh in energy storage

LONGi Solar and Green Energy Supplier have spent years building one of the strongest strategic partnerships in the Balkan solar market. At Intersolar Europe 2026, the two companies expanded that collaboration by signing an agreement covering 150 MW of PV modules and 150 MWh of battery energy storage systems. Commercial and industrial customers across the region are increasingly looking for integrated energy systems that combine solar generation with battery storage, and the expanded partnership addresses that demand.

The agreement was signed by Adrian Kočan, General Manager Eastern Europe at LONGi Solar (DG), and Slavi Rangelov, Founder and CEO of Green Energy Supplier. It marks a natural evolution of a collaboration that Green Energy Supplier has formalised as a LONGi Strategic Partner 2026 and in previous years, one of a select number of certified partners recognised for their depth of commitment and market performance across the region.

Green Energy Supplier and a decade of building the solar market across the Balkan Peninsula

Green Energy Supplier was founded in Bulgaria in 2015, and since then it has grown from a domestic distributor of photovoltaic equipment into one of the most established renewable energy partners across the Balkan Peninsula. Only a few distributors in the region can match their geographic reach.

From PV modules to integrated energy systems in the Balkans

The addition of 150 MWh in BESS expands the partnership beyond solar modules to meet growing demand for integrated energy systems across the Balkans. Commercial and industrial customers across the Balkans are increasingly looking for integrated solar and storage solutions. They want energy systems that generate, store, and manage power as a single integrated solution, reducing dependence on the grid and delivering predictable energy costs over a long investment horizon.
